First weight losses on #clean9

Morning folks,

As you know I’m on my Clean 9 body cleanse programme at the moment and loving it.

Today is the start of day 3 and the first weight check day, a day I dread and also kinda look forward to!

So from today I re-introduce a 600-800 calorie meal (600 for ladies) along with an extra shake today aswell which is cool, the free food list is awesome too it gets you through those harder times 🙂

So what did I loose? A WHOPPING 8lbs!!! So as of 9/1/14 I now weigh 18st 4lbs!’

This is so exciting for me and really is spurring me on, I never want to go back up in weight and I know this clean 9 programme will kick me into action for a healthier lifestyle 🙂

This is just the beginning and I have tough times ahead and a lot more work to do, especially after the clean 9 ends but I’m more dedicated now than I ever have been!!

Happy Friday!!

Overwhelmed…

This is just a quick post to say thank you!

I am so overwhelmed by the response of this blog from family, friends and complete strangers. In just 24 hours from launching it I have had 250 views, 10 followers and lots of comment activity.

This might not sound that impressive for the more seasoned blogger but to me this is amazing and compels me to continue creating content for this blog😃.

The response I have had has been nothing but positive and I’ve even had personal training classes given to me for free by the MYChoreographer Swansea, a company based out of Revue Dance Studios (revuestudios.co.uk) which is going to be amazing and I will be sure to blog about my experience after it on Saturday!

Today I am on DAY 2 of my clean 9 and feeling pretty awesome 😊 we are off to Cardiff today visit STA travel to get the itinerary sorted for our 6 month trip, we know we are starting with the Dragon Tour of China and we have a vague idea where we want to go from there but the guys down there are so good at their jobs I highly recommend you going down to see them for all your travel needs!

I’ll catch up with you all later

Peace x

Time for a change…

So for those who aren’t familiar with me, my name is Jay Smith and I reside in the beautiful South Wales valleys.

Im a trained drama professional who has worked all over facilitating drama projects and I am a network marketing professional with my own business under the umbrella of a global company.

The reason I have started this blog is to help me document my weight loss journey in 2015.

I very rarely, openly, discuss my weight as it’s been an ongoing issue for the best part of my 24 years existence but I think now is the time to do so and share my experiences going forward with the hope of keeping myself motivated and who knows perhaps inspiring one or two people to do something positive for themselves.

My weight peaked in late 2013 and reached a whopping 21st 7lbs, this was me at my biggest and at my lowest, I would delete pictures, hide tags on Facebook, I was always conscious of it and it was adversely affecting my life. I felt completely embarrassed and ashamed by the person I had become and it was wearing me down.

I had always thought of myself as being a ‘big-boy’ but when I realised I was classed as obese with a crazy BMI it then hit me, and with heart related issues pevelant in my family it was best to nip it in the bud!

In 2014 I had to make a change so between joining a slimming world group and also using the forever living range of supplements and a clean 9 programme I managed to get my weight to 18st – now I was feeling better, I met my beautiful girlfriend Gemma in the March of 2014 and she has been a constant source of support and inspiration for me.

Where am I now? Well I am now at 18st 12lbs and I feel if I don’t take control now then I could end up back where I was and that isn’t a prospect I enjoy the thought of, so enter my BLOG!!

I will be blogging regularly about how I’m getting on, testing out fun and interesting forms of exercise, telling you about my journey, sharing recipes, talking about the products I use and lots more – it really is to help me keep motivated and hopefully to inspire others.

The other reason is that myself and Gemma are planning a 6 month world trip starting September and I really want to make sure I am in a good physical condition to experience it to its fullest!!

Keep your eyes peeled for more posts and I wish you all luck if you’re heading down a similar road to me 🙂
